WTA 125K in San Diego!

So my season ended up not actually being over since I got into the WTA in Carlsbad, CA. The Saturday before Thanksgiving, I phone signed in and found out that I was the last one into the tournament. I was in Arizona, so I immediately hopped on a flight to San Diego so that I could play the next day. Luckily it was only an hour flight, but I still didn’t get to the hotel until about 9:30 in the evening. I played Sharon Fichman the next morning, second match after 10. At least the supervisor was nice enough not to play me first so I could sleep in a bit before getting a good warm up in. Unfortunately I didn’t play as well as I had hoped and lost a tough one. I definitely had my chances, but I wasn’t capitalizing at the right moments. I ended up losing 7-6, 7-5, but I ended the season with more ideas of what to work on and how to improve for 2016. In the mean time, it is officially time to relax and enjoy some time off before training for 2016. Hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving.
